Safe Melt™ Premium Ice Melt Blend (DELIVERED)

Instructions:
Apply Safe Melt™ to areas where snow or ice cannot be easily removed by shoveling. For best results, apply before or at the onset of snowfall to help prevent slippery surfaces. Not intended for use with a free-flowing push spreader. Must be manually applied or by commercial spreader application with proper feed system only, for best results. Evenly distribute at a rate of ½ to 1 cup per square yard approximately. 3 ft × 3 ft area. Avoid over-application or piling. Melting effectiveness varies with temperature and ice thickness. On heavy or refreezing ice, reapply as needed. Once melting is complete, remove slush and residue from the surface to reduce refreezing and protect concrete integrity.

May cause mild irritation to skin, eyes, or respiratory tract. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If swallowed, drink 1–2 glasses of water or milk and contact a physician. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.

SAFE FOR QUALITY CONCRETE WHEN USED AS DIRECTED
Safe Melt™ is designed for use on properly cured, air-entrained concrete made for cold-weather conditions. For best results, avoid using on concrete less than three years old or on surfaces that are cracked, chipped, or of poor quality, and exercise special caution when using on patio blocks, precast steps, or brick masonry.

As with any deicer, excessive or repeated use may cause surface wear over time. Promptly removing melted slush and using only the amount needed will help maintain your concrete’s appearance and durability.
